  • Routine Fatigue – Life feels repetitive, and your current path no longer excites you.

The Self-Coaching Exercise: 4 Steps to Break Free

Step 1: Identify the Stuck Feeling

Ask yourself: Why do I feel unmotivated or stuck right now? What am I telling myself about this?

💡 Example Answer:
“I feel stuck in my job. Every day feels the same, and I don’t feel excited anymore. I keep thinking I should be further ahead in life, but I don’t know where to start.”


Step 2: Reframe Your Perspective

If my future self, five years from now, gave me advice, what would they say?

💡 Example Answer:
“You’re not stuck—you’re learning. Every experience, even the frustrating ones, is shaping you into someone stronger. Keep moving forward, even in small steps. You don’t need to see the whole staircase—just take the next step.”

Step 3: Take One Small Action

What is one tiny action I can take today to move forward, even just 1%?

💡 Example Answer:
“I will explore one new career opportunity today—update my resume, apply for a job, or reach out to someone in a field I admire for advice. Even if I don’t change jobs immediately, I’m taking control of my future.”


Step 4: Reflect on the Lesson

How did taking that small step change how I feel?

💡 Example Answer:
“I feel more in control. Just reaching out or making a plan reminds me I have options. I’m not stuck—I’m in progress. The more I act, the clearer things become.”
